TOMS at Pipeline to a Cure

As a member of the TOMS Artist Collective, I was invited to participate in this year’s Pipeline To A Cure, a big fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation held in Huntington Beach, CA. I customized some TOMS items to be sold at the auction, with the proceeds going to the CFF to assist in their efforts to eradicate this disease. Here’s a sneak peek!

TOMS eyewear cases

This past weekend, I did the first TOMS Style Your Case event in San Francisco. It was part of the Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale and part of TOMS “Summer of Sight” campaign. We were busy the entire afternoon, customizing eyewear cases for folks who purchased TOMS sunglasses. We had a great time making some really memorable cases and it was fun to experiment with a new project for TOMS.

I’m really stoked on the TOMS eyewear program! Similar to the One for One program with shoes, whenever you buy a pair of the TOMS eyewear, they give sight to someone in need. That means prescription eyeglasses, sight-saving surgery, or eye medicine. Think how much improved vision can change someone’s life! It’s humbling to think that with just one purchase, you can have such a powerful impact on someone’s life. You can learn more about TOMS and their giving programs here.

If you want to give sight to someone in need and would like to have your case customized, please check my Etsy site soon for this service. I’d be happy to work with you to create a case that is one of a kind!
